Source :Digitimes update : 2010-08-13
Demand for small-size LCD driver ICs from China-based handset makers has picked up again recently following a slow season in the previous two months, according to industry sources.
Taiwan-based small-size LCD driver IC vendors, including ILI Technology (Ilitek), Orise Technology and Sitronix Technology, will benefit from the upsurge in demand and are likely to see their revenues grow 10% sequentially in the third quarter, the sources stated.
In addition LCD driver ICs, Ilitek also began shipping touch panel ICs for notebook and handset applications in July, indicated the sources.
