Source :Digitimes update : 2010-07-09
TFT LCD driver IC maker Himax Technologies has lowered its second-quarter revenue guidance to a 7% growth, down from its previous projection for a 10-15% growth, reflecting capacity tightness throughout the supply chain and a change in certain customers' demand, according to a company statement.
Himax's second quarter gross margin and GAAP earnings per ADS expectations remain unchanged. Himax previously projected its gross margin to stay flat sequentially at 19.8% in the second quarter with a GAAP earnings per ADS at US$0.06-0.08.
Himax will hold a conference call on August 10 to discuss the financial results for the second quarter, the company said.
