Vodafone sells 3.2% stake in China Mobile for HK$50.92 bln

U.K.-based mobile phone operator Vodafone Group PLC on Wednesday sold a 3.2% in China Mobile Ltd<0941><CHL>, the country's largest telecom operator, for HK$50.92 billion, sources reported.
According to the report, Vodafone sold 642.9 million shares of China Mobile for HK$79.20 apiece, a price in the lower end of the indicative price range of HK$79.20 to HK$80.00 per share.
The price is 3.4% less than the HK$82.00 closing price of China Mobile on Tuesday.
Vodafone earlier had said that it sold a 3.2% stake in China Mobile for GBP 4.3 billion including tax and transaction costs.
According to the report, Vodafone sold 642.9 million shares of China Mobile for HK$79.20 apiece, a price in the lower end of the indicative price range of HK$79.20 to HK$80.00 per share.
The price is 3.4% less than the HK$82.00 closing price of China Mobile on Tuesday.
Vodafone earlier had said that it sold a 3.2% stake in China Mobile for GBP 4.3 billion including tax and transaction costs.
