China's utilized FDI up 20.65% in Jan-Jul

China's utilized foreign direct investment grew 20.65% year on year to US$58.35 billion in the first seven months of this year, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Commerce yesterday.
The utilized FDI in July climbed 29.2% year on year to US$6.92 billion.
In the period from January to July, China approved the establishment of 14,459 foreign-invested enterprises, 17.9% more than in the same period of 2009. The number of foreign-invested enterprises approved in the month of July was 2,082, up 12.85% year on year.
The ministry also announced that China's non-financial overseas direct investment was US$226.5 billion by the end of last month.
