China's software sector sees 21.4% growth in revenue in Jan-Nov

China's software industry reaped RMB 870.16 billion in business revenue in the first 11 months of this year, 21.4% more than in the same period of last year, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Tuesday.
The growth rate was 1.2 percentage points higher than in the first ten months, but 9.4 percentage points below the rate in the corresponding period of last year, said the ministry.
In November, the country's software sector realized an income of RMB 101 billion, up 31.3% from a year earlier. The growth rate was 2.8 percentage points higher than the rate in the same period of last year and 11.8 percentage points more than the rate in October.
In the first 11 months, software exports surged 35.3% year on year to US$15.5 billion, while software outsourcing soared 42.5% from a year earlier to US$2.04 billion.
In the same period, the revenue from software businesses in East China increased 20.5% year on year to RMB 741.46 billion, accounting for 85.2% of the country's total. Software revenue in West China rose 29.1% from a year earlier to RMB 71.53 billion, while that of Central China was RMB 57.17 billion, up 24% year on year.
