Chunghwa Telecom invests in CQi Energy Infocom to enhance cooperation

IC component distributors Aeco Technology and Koryo Electronics are both expected to see sales continue growing sequentially in the third quarter of 2010, according to market watchers. Aeco focuses on sales of analog IC products, whereas Koryo distributes IC components for mostly Japan-based companies including Renesas Electronics.
Aeco posted revenues of NT$1.69 billion (US$53.14 million) in the first quarter and NT$1.78 billion in the second quarter. Aeco's third-quarter revenues are expected to grow by a single-digit rate sequentially, the sources estimated.
Koryo posted pre-tax profits of NT$59.61 million in the second quarter, bringing pre-tax profits for the first half to NT$116 million, or an EPS of NT$2.24 before taxes.
Sales of Renesas products contribute 50% to Koryo's total revenues currently, the sources indicated.
