In the course of his visit to China, RA President Serzh Sargsyan received executive director of the Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd Leen Ru Chi. Armenian delegation also visited ZTE corporation office (Zhong Xing Telecommunication Equipment Company Limited) and met with the President Shi Lirong.

Both companies engaged in a telecommunication sector (appliance production, electronic control, telecommunication systems) intend to participate in the implementation of new programs in Armenia.

Sargsyan and ZTE President discussed cooperation possibilities, RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am. RA President noted that Armenian side is ready to assist Chinese companies as well as participate in production process.

Serzh Sargsyan also discussed collaboration issues with the head of Huawei corporation–dynamically developing company that comes second after Intel by copyrights and Ericsson – by output volume. The corporation intends to come out on top in the world market of telecommunication technologies in next three years, thus it is interested in developing its activities in Armenia. After meeting, the sides signed a cooperation agreement.
