Chunghwa Telecom posts January-February EPS of NT$0.89

Chuunghwa Telecom (CHT) on March 10 reported unaudited net profit of NT$4.198 billion (US$131 million) for February 2010, resulting in January-February net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.89.
CHT had 1.70 million FTTx (fiber to the home/building) subscribers and 370,000 ADSL subscribers at download speeds of 8Mbps or above as of the end of February, the company indicated.
Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) also released their financial figures for February on March 10.
