China market: Online search services valued at 6.95 billion yuan in 2009

Online search engines in the China market generated total revenues of 6.95 billion yuan (US$1.02 billion) in 2009, increasing by 38.2% from 2008, according to the China-based iResearch Consulting Group.
Online search revenues accounted for 33.7% of the total revenues for online advertising services, iResearch indicated.
