China's advertising spending grew 17 percent in 1H'10

China's advertising spending grew 17 percent on an annual basis to 277 billion yuan (US$41 billion) in the first half of this year, statistics by a market research firm showed.
"As the macroeconomic situation is better than expected, the increase in ad spending for the whole year will be around 13 percent," CTR Market Research Co said yesterday.
